Grace be to you, friend.
Sam Ayooluwa, a Minister of God without Border, to the one who has lost a child, whether recently or years ago, yet still feels the ache as though it were yesterday. Grace be to you in this space where time does not seem to heal, but only teaches you how to carry what cannot be undone.
There are losses in life that words cannot hold, and this is one of them. To lose a child is not the order of things as you understood it. It leaves questions in the soul that do not easily find answers. Whether it happened recently or years have passed, the weight does not simply disappear.
There are days you have learned to function, to smile, to engage with life again. And then there are days that return with a sharpness you did not prepare for. The days that mark their birth. The days that remember their passing. The quiet moments where memory speaks louder than the present.
